San Francisco based Professional designer and conceptual artist, Ken Nguyen has produced some really exciting textured SketchUp models and shows us here his workflow that he uses for these great 3D models. This tutorial is based on SketchUp models, V-Ray for SketchUp render and Photoshop…enjoy!

SketchUp on IPAD or Iphone…what do you think?  Cadalog Inc., the people behind this new exporter and viewer are also the developers of  SU Podium V2 and Podium Browser. This is the overview:
“Viso3D converts SketchUp models so that they can be viewed and navigated in 3D on an iPad or iPhone/ iTouch. The Viso3D Exporter plug-in is currently $59.00 (USD). The Viso3D iOs app is free from the iTunes app store”

SketchUp News Plugin

Keeping up with all the latest news on SketchUp can be time consuming.  Our friend Alex Schreyer has released a new plugin suitably called SketchUp News. It follows Trimble SketchUp, SketchUcation, SketchUpArtists, Twitter and Facebook for tutorials and news and all within SketchUp. So while your working on your latest creation, you can keep up with the latest news and happenings without even leaving SketchUp. How cool is that!
